I have been looking at some of the larger Dartmoor series but sometimes it’s a bit like can’t see the woods for the trees on the website map. 🙄

Is there a way to ONLY display all the caches in a named series of your choice, or would i have to export them to another programme? Please don’t be too technical with your answers as i don’t even load pocket queries onto my GPS 😳

    Thanks in advance

The only way I know is to use GSAK – filter out the caches by searching for the common part of the name, and expert them to google earth or map page.

The website is very basic on how you can search and then display – even the PQ with “Map this PQ” won’t allow searches.

Another thought is http://www.geocachetrails.com/ – if the series has been listed there.

You could put each cache of a series into a bookmark list and then create a PQ for that bookmark list. The map of that PQ will then show just the caches in the series that you’ve book-marked.

I’ve created this Bookmark List for my Walk on the Wild Side series:

If all the COs could create a bookmark list for their series I could publish them on this web site 😛

dartymoor, geocachetrails only gives you the first cache in the series and not all of them.

I don’t like the map anyway as it only give you the really large series unless you zoom in on the map. To start with nothing is shown on Dartmoor unless you zoom in.

Many thanks for your replies. I’ve looked into all and the simplest way seems to be the bookmark list / PQ. This will make a huge difference when I’m trying to sort out those fab series’s which I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into 😛
